Just wanted to post an update letting folks know that the server issue has apparently been worked out. Forecast information magically appeared just a few minutes ago on my desktop FXi unit. Looks like it’s about to get a tad bit cooler ’round these parts.

Hi Guys, can someone who has a Bushnell FXi 960900C 7 Day Internet Weather Forecaster confirm to me if Valletta, Malta or any other City in Malta(Europe) if its added in the forecasts, before I buy one?? I’m tired of googling around with no results of a city page or something. Thanks in advance.
Hey diazmlt, I checked my software tonight and can positively confirm that “Europe->Malta->Valletta” is indeed available as a location setting in the FXi software. There’s also about three dozen other cities listed for Malta: Attard, Balzard, Birkirkara, Cospicua, Dingli, Fgura… the list goes on and on. I’ve never been to Malta (other than via google maps), so I’m not terribly familiar with where those places are exactly, but after looking at the weather forecast online I’m wishing I was there now instead of in the snow here (20F/-6C). Hope all is well on the island(s) and hopefully that info can help you!
Hey Joel, WOW really impressed with your speedy reply to my comment. A very big thanks for your help and for confirming my location on the console. Just ordered a forecaster from ebay…..hope I will get it fast as i’m on nails to start using this gadget now. What’s your location then, having a temp of -6C and snow?? We never have snow here in Malta and really wish to have some
. Best months if you plan to visit the islands someday is from Oct to May, if you’re not into getting fried by the sun with temp 32C to 36C on average with some heatwaves even hitting some 40C in some days 
. The islands are wonderful at the moment with green fields and meadows even though we have been in some drought from last year, with the only exception Oct 2010….I measured 236mm of rain 
Hey Diazmlt, sorry for the delayed response, been a super busy week! I really think you’ll like the weather forecaster – I have mine on my desk at work and it’s really handy to be able to glance down and see all the forecast data quickly. It’s been pretty damn cold here in the Mid-Atlantic USA… I’m in Delaware, and today will be the first day in weeks that it’s been much above freezing. More snow coming on Friday too. Malta sounds like just the opposite – I’ll have to try and schedule a visit sometime. I have a relative in Northern Italy that I may be going to see in the spring, and Malta doesn’t look *too* far — maybe a long drive and a couple ferry rides from Naples
