No, Mr Finlay, you’re right – it never does look like that naturally, but I don’t see anything wrong with tweaking a scene to look a certain way once in a while… remember, it was Ansel Adams who said: “Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships.” … and “Half the work is in taking the picture, while the other half lies in the darkroom.”
