Places I Like To Haunt:

Yeah, you heard right. I'm giving away all my favorite photography locations. Why? Because I'm a firm believer in the old adage "It's not about the camera". In this case, I'll take it a step further.. it's not about the location either. Great locations help, but you can still take some hideous photos in some of the most beautiful places in the world if you don't know what you're doing. I figure if you're reading this page, you're a half step ahead of the regular Joe's out there, and are legitimately interested in finding the places I got some of my shots.

Also, there seems to be this "pay-it-forward" mentality among photographers lately. Maybe one of you who are reading this right now will send me an email or leave a comment saying, "Hey, thanks for the tip on locations - have you ever gone *here*?" And it'll be somewhere I never thought of going before. Maybe someone from out of town is looking for a couple of great spots to photograph while they're in the area. Who knows. I just feel a need to share these places with anyone else who might be looking. Hell, I wish someone had a page like this when I first started "getting into photography" - but then that would've taken the *fun* out of trying to find them all.
