Open Edition Photographic Prints

The Process:

I do not keep an inventory of photographic prints on hand, therefore each print is created at the time they're ordered. After receiving your order, I will locate and prep the original digital file for printing. All of my original digital negatives have been meticulously processed using a fully color managed workflow and optimized using the latest digital imaging software to obtain the best output. That being said, I will still scrutinize and examine every file to adjust sharpness and check crop parameters depending on the requested print size. I take great pride in producing the highest quality digital files and their corresponding photographic prints.

Photographic prints are then created on Kodak RP-30 and Durst Theta Printers using Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper, which has one of the highest ratings for image longevity, estimated at 90 to 100 years. The printers will expose the digital negative file directly to silver halide photographic paper using visible light lasers, creating *true* photographs - not inkjet prints. This technique results in what are arguably the sharpest, highest-fidelity prints available today.

These traditional, archival prints will suit the needs of most print buyers. If cared for properly, they should provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
